C60 - 1 hour (including shorter tapes of 30+ mins)

The cost includes transfer to a CD with a black printed label (extra £1.00 per disc for a full colour print onto the CD).

If the full time of an audio cassette exceeds the CD duration (80min), a 2nd CD is produced at an extra cost of £3.50 per printed and duplicated CD (£4.50 for a colour print onto the CD)

£15.00 per tape plus editing cost if you require the audio to be cut into separate tracks - £1.00 per track

C90 - 1 hour 30 minutes
The cost includes transfer to a CD with a black printed label
(extra £1.00 per disc for a full colour print onto the CD).

Perfect for for sharing, streaming or editing your memories. We are happy for you to supply a USB stick for this purpose (it would need to be a large size if there are hours of audio), or we may be able to send the files using a file sharing program such as WeTransfer.

TO ALSO produce a CD with a printed label from your tape @ £3.50 plus vat each (or £4.50 plus vat each for full colour print)

For the prices shown above, each side of the Vinyl will be shown as one file on a USB or one track if it is burned to a CD. However, each track will play with a few seconds break between each if the vinyl was first recorded this way. If you would like us to edit the audio so that each track is separate and can be both played and searched for as separate tracks we charge £1.00 per track for this service

Alternatively we can transfer to an MP3 file to send by email or WeTransfer or to put onto a USB stick.

CARRIAGE

If delivery is required, this would be dependent on weight and your requirement for security.

As a rule we use standard first class small parcel post with Royal Mail up to 2kgs @ £6.50 and a courier (UPS) for weights above 2kgs @ £11.50.

If you prefer we use a more secure, fully tracked parcel carrier, please let us know, we will take your lead.

If you wish to send your tape or vinyl to us for conversion, please use the address shown on our contact

page and please wrap up both tapes and vinyl carefully with layers of bubble wrap and/or newspaper.

Please remember to include your name, telephone number and your return address, plus an

explanation of what is required.

IMPORTANT NOTES

WE COPY AND TRANSFER THE DATA YOU GIVE US, PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT THAT MEDIA RECORDED MANY YEARS AGO WILL SOUND LIKE THAT RECORDED BY THE HIGH QUALITY AUDIO EQUIPMENT OF TODAY - THE DIFFERENCE CAN BE CONSIDERABLE.

WE DO NOT DIGITALLY REMASTER, EDIT OR RESTORE THE AUDIO WITH A STRAIGHT TRANSFER, PLEASE ASK IF YOU NEED THIS EXTRA SERVICE. IF THE SOUND HAS BEEN RECORED AS ONE LONG TRACK THEN THE COPY WILL SOUND THE SAME, THE TRACK EDIT COST (£1.00 PER TRACK) INVOLVES PUTTING THE TRACKS IN THE CORRECT ORDER AND TRANSFERING TO CD WITH THE USUAL PAUSE BETWEEN SONGS,

IF THE MEDIA HAS BEEN DAMAGED IN SOME WAY THIS MAY NOT ALWAYS BE APPARENT. IF POSSIBLE, WE WILL TRY AND IDENTIFY THESE ISSUES AND SPEAK TO YOU ABOUT IT FIRST. FOR OBVIOUSLY DAMAGED OR FOR BLANK MEDIA, WE WILL RETURN THE TAPE AT NO CHARGE.

*Audio Tapes are magnetic media, which after many years is liable to degrade if it is not stored well, particularly if it comes in contact with moisture or has been stored near hi-fi speakers.

If it is possible to take copies from your media we will, but we can not be held responsible if any damage has occurred and the audio does not play quite as expected, e.g. fluttering or glitches in sound. If it sounds to us as though there has been obvious damage to the media, TechnoVisual don't carry out any tape restoration and so in this case we prefer to hand the media back with no charge.

If you prefer to hear an MP3 of the audio first before we transfer to a CD, please let us know.

** Very short run tapes may be charged according to the time taken to process them, generally we charge a minimum of £10.00 per tape. We will consider discounted prices for larger quantities.
